This year I took a 2,300 mile personal golf tour beginning with Spreading Antlers in Lamar, Colorado then to Garden City, Kansas and Dodge City, and on down through Oklahoma into Texas. My objective was to play 20 courses in 30 days. I met my objective and as I look back I have to admit that I enjoyed this course the most. I was really surprised. I had never even heard of Lipan, Texas. It’s about 15 minutes west of Granbury, Texas, which is thirty minutes south of Fort Worth. This course is a must to play when you are in northwest Texas. Try to play it twice or at least with someone who has played it before. There are lots of dog legs and blind holes to challenge you.
SCROLL DOWN to see the course as you will see it when you play. All photos are from the player’s eye level. Nothing fancy, but the course is.
