While the 71st Senior PGA Championship was held at the Colorado Golf Club, folks may have been unaware that there is a nine-hole three-par course adjacent to the 18. This course is not a pitch and putt. It is a challenging layout with holes from 84 to 194 yards. There are only a few where landing on the green with a high trajectory is not required. There is little room behind the greens and, if you top the ball, finding it may even be a problem. No water hazards to contend with, but carries to the green are a must, even for bogies.

A golf professional friend of mine, Bobby Steiner, www.bobbysteiner.com, was the instructor at the first golf academy I attended in Rancho Mirage, California back in 2003. He wrote the book, MUNI, THE JITTERBUY COLLECTION and in that book one of the chapters was about an old Indian man watching golfers. Hole #7 reminded me of that old Indian man. See if you can find him. CLICK HERE and enjoy your tour as a player would see it from tee to the green and back.

If you are involved with golf tournaments looking for great gift items for goodie bags, I recommend you go to Bobby's website and buy the book. Your players will really enjoy this book and by reading it and get some great advice on how to improve their game. The review of the book is on Seniorfriendlygolf.com.
