Each year there are two PGA Merchandise Shows I make an effort to attend to find out what's new in golf that would interest http://www.SeniorFriendlyGolf.com visitors. The main show every year is in Orlando, Florida in January. This is the biggest show and includes 1,000 or more exhibitors. The Fall Show is in August or September in Las Vegas. This is a smaller event with 200 or so exhibitors. The advantage for companies presenting their products and services at the Nevada show is that a more intimate relationship can be developed between sellers and buyers. The disadvantage is that there are significantly fewer presentations to a smaller audience. Also, it's really hot in Las Vegas. This year a record 107 degrees with 40% humidity hit the city. In Colorado 40% humidity is considered dry. In Las Vegas 40% humidity is considered oppressively wet. You definitely feel it more there. On the other hand, last year's Florida show was followed by record cold weather. It snowed down state in Miami and hundreds of alligators and manatees died. Of course the weather is not why these shows exist. They exist for the value they have to both companies and the golf professionals they serve. In addition to the merchandise, Reed Expositions and the PGA team up to provide numerous seminars and other information sessions for its members.
This journal entry focuses on two companies I had the pleasure to get acquainted with and the review of their products. They are Dawgs golf shoes and the Magic Masseuse.
I have also included two other products I have recently reviewed, AIM-MATE and GOLF MISSION.
